Fashion Week Stockholm Fall/Winter 2018 begins today, with Sweden’s prominent designers and brands presenting their new collections, mainly at the official arena, the renowned Grand Hôtel Stockholm. Beckmans college of Design opens Fashion Week AW18 in the beautiful Spegelsalen and Hope will round off this season on Tuesday evening.

Live stream the shows here on Fashionweek.se or at Bon.se, and don’t miss this years TV-studio in collaboration with Alfa Romeo and Specsavers. They will be hosting the two shows ”After show” and “Mingel” together with fashion expert Oskar Arrsjö and Margaux Dietz. They will interview the designers, models and experts in the field and give you insights in what’s going on today in the fashion industry. The shows will be recorded live at Vapensalen and be published on Fashion Week Stockholms website.

Today’s schedule consists of exciting shows from Beckmans College of Design, Back, Emelie Janrell, Johannes Adele, Totéme, Newhouse, Ida Klamborn, Busnel and Filippa K.

Highlights of this season include the return of Filippa K, with Filippa Knutsson as the new creative director. Unisex brand Johannes Adele is debuting with their own show in Spegelsalen and Ida Klamborn will make you look twice with her showing featuring power dressing and self gaze. After a noticed debut during Fashion Week Stockholm last spring Totême returns for an intimate presentation exclusively curated at Bukowskis together with artworks by Eric Grate and Eva Lange. They are two pioneers within Swedish sculpture; both of them have been an important source of inspiration for the fall collection. The exhibition “SKULPTUR – Möte med Eric Grate och Eva Lange” will further be open for the public between 23 to 31 January at Bukowskis.

A big part of Fashion Week is also Fashion Talks at Ahouse. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear some of Sweden’s leading fashion people talk about sustainable fashion and hear stylist Bea Åkerlund’s tell you how to be yourself.

Cadierbaren is the natural meeting point for the visitors of Fashion Week Stockholm and legendary michelin star granted Mathias Dahlgren’s Matbaren will save you when feeling hungry inbetween the shows.

Don’t miss Chiquelle’s presentation in the lobby of Grand Hôtel.

In addition to Grand Hôtel, our new partner Italian car brand Alfa Romeo, makes this season of Fashion Week Stockholm happen. As for last season, Brand Experience Scandinavia (BES) continues as co arranger. Other partners include American Express, Chiquelle, The Steamery, Stockholms Auktionsverk, hp, Specsavers, Richard Juhlin, Dagens industri and Redbull.
