Describe your design in three words.
“Timeless, contemporary and including.”

What’s your style philosophy?
“Style over fashion.”

Where did the initial concept for your brand come from?
“Otranto is where Jonas and I spent a leisurely month with our families and friends 6 years ago. Walking through town we found a small studio making sandals. Everybody got a pair and wore little else for the rest of the summer. And that is what sparked the idea of ATP Atelier.”

What’s your label’s signature pieces?
“Rosa, Astrid, Carmen and Doris Sandals!”

Going forward, what direction will the brand take?
“Today the brand is present in the whole of Scandinavia, Australia, Japan as well as the best concept stores in the US, such as The Apartment, Net a Porter, Bird and Jennie Kayne.  The next step is to establish the brand on the USA market even better, with more concept stores like the ones mentioned earlier, but also to enter the best concept and department stores of Europe. We are also featured in some of the best concept stores in Japan and we see big potential in both the Japanese market but also in Hongkong and Korea.”

Who would you invite to your dream dinner party?
“Barack and Michelle Obama, people with human values, great style and a big sense of humor!”

Who would play you in the film of your life?
“Mia Farrow.”

If you could edit your past, what would you change?
“Actually nothing… I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason.”

If you could go back in time, where would you go?
“To Rapallo in Italy when I was a small kid and spent my summers with my Italian cousins and we where having Nutella for lunch and Mussels and seafood for dinner. There is where my everlasting love for Italy was founded as well as my big interest in food and style.”
