This coming season will present over 30 shows and presentations including well-known Swedish brands such as Whyred, House of Dagmar and Rodebjer but also a noteworthy mix of old as well as new acquaintances.

This season Fashion Week Stockholm focuses on highlighting the creative industries and to support the new generation of Swedish designers. On Monday, the 29th of august, The Swedish School of Textiles opens Fashion Week Stockholm SS17 at Berns, Stora Salongen. The Swedish brand Rodebjer returns to the runway for the first time in five years with an exclusive show during Monday evening at Ulrikdsdals Slottsteater in the historic Confidence.

Furthermore there will be a display for Fashion! Vintage from Stockholm Auktionsverkets Modeauktion, styled by Maria Virgin and curated by Britton & Britton.

Tuesday night is dominated by the new creative hub at the Museum of Modern Art and ArkDes, who holds both the discussion panel Fashion Talks Art and the alternative fashion platform Amaze, directed by Sara Forsberg and Nicole Walker. Both will be open to the public. Diana Orving will also be returning to Fashion Week Stockholm this particular evening along with Fashion Week Stockholm regulars such as Ida Klamborn, Ida Sjöstedt and J.Lindeberg showing during the day.

As for new acquaintances, we are thrilled to announce CMMN SWDN, NHORM, DailyRoutine, L’HOMME ROUGE, Fadi el Khoury, Castor Pollux, Jennifer Blom and Daisy Grace who all will be showing during Fashion Week Stockholm.

The Jewelry and Accessories lounge exhibits at the Stockholm Auktionsverk on Wednesday and opens up to the public together with Fashion Night. Mall of Scandinavia, an official partner of Fashion Week Stockholm, extends the fashion week over the weekend and organizes various activities in the Designer Gallery, likewise open to the public.
